This section here is to help us continue to produce good work for our clients and the media relationships that we have. Thank you for understanding and remember it puts food on the table for us.
This is something important that everyone should be concerned with. If you are an artist, a writer, a photographer, etc... and your work is used without permission. You'll soon realize that it doesn't put food on the table when people ask for free photographs or if someone takes it without permission.
Just imagine you've worked hard on something that you're passionate about and then it's taken without permission as other websites will benefit from your work. You may ask how? Most websites have some sort of Ad Revenue for their site(s). Regardless how you got there, for every visitor, it can generate revenue if you purchase something from their website. The point I'm making is that we're all the little man while others are making money off your work--I hope that helps you understand and I'm sure if this was to happen to you...
I know so many wonderful artists out there who would love to display their works online but they don't want people taking their work without their permission. Or, let me state the obvious stealing the work and placing it on their website is just wrong. I know the Internet community knows this is wrong and only you guys can help put an end to this. I am sure if people were to ask if it's alright to display the owners work on their blog or website something can be arranged or an acknowledgement with permission. But it's always best to ask... don't you think?
